Join Us For CULTIVATE'20

The Leading Horticultural Event in the USA

July 11-14, 2020
Greater Columbus Convention Center
Columbus, OH USA

Cultivate is the industry's leading event for business, networking, professional development, trends, industry research, and business growth. It's where the entire green industry gathers for an event that's unparalleled in quality of education, variety of exhibitors, and cross-channel networking and learning.

What is Cultivate?

See official page for Cultivate. This is the most important and largest horticultural trade show in the USA. Everyone that is serious about horticulture will be there. You will come to Columbus for 5 days to visit the show and take educational workshops that are part of the show. To learn about the workshops follow the link. You will be able to attend all the workshops at no additional cost.

Some workshops will overlap with the specials presentations TOP organizes, and the presentations are obligatory. As young professionals topics such as teambuilding, career development, and exchange experience are in focus for TOP participants. See this video for 2016 and this following our 2017 event.

What is on schedule?

Cultivate is a trade show with about 100 educational workshops. You will visit the trade floor and meet many industry leaders. Hint: have your CV with you, look for career opportunities.

You will receive a special pass ($305 value) that will allow you to enter workshops.

We have fun on schedule as well. Join our glorious 80 kayak armada floating down the mighty (not so) Big Darby Creek, we will hike, climb, dance, sing and play games. Most of these are TOP Secret because we want to surprise you. We will meet and exceed your expectations. And we will keep going.

Money Money Money

Important: Do not register for Cultivate directly with AmericanHort. This is too expensive for you. You must register with TOP to benefit from the sponsorship and reduced rates.

Thanks to our sponsors and excellent relationship with Syngenta, the $280 registration fee will cover the following:

  • All Access Pass for Cultivate20, $305 value
  • Admission to the CareerUP workshop, $125 value
  • All night motel stay (Jul 10-14, two people per room)
  • All additional activities, transportation in Columbus, some meals.

Your cost is $280 but the package you receive is worth well over $1000.

But wait, there is more: volunteer opportunity

Volunteers will arrive on Tuesday, July 8. You will work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday together with the AmericanHort staff, OSU employees and TOP staff to prepare the Columbus Convention Center for the Cultivate show. This is an opportunity for creative interns to show their talents, to network, experience and learn. You will be decorating the Convention Center to get it ready for the show! It is a very enjoyable experience.

The Volunteer group is limited to 10 people. These 10 will be rewarded with the following: free hotel nights to cover these days, free transportation in Columbus, breakfast on Thursday and Friday provided, lunch provided every day, dinner up to $25 per person provided (with receipt), $50 cash bonus to each volunteer.

Registration is now OPENED

  1. You will register via this page
  2. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: If you register and pay BEFORE April 3rd you will get a $20 discount
  3. Once we approve your participation, a $280 (or $260) invoice will be posted on your TOP account. Payment will be available until May 27 (Memorial Day), otherwise you lose your spot.
