Please remember to inform us when you are leaving. Let us know by phone or email. It is very important and saves unnecessary confusion and potential problems for you. Also, we need to know when your last day of training is going to be.
When we know your last day we will send you a packet with information about departure procedure (download). It is very important that you follow these steps, not doing so may jeopardize any future travel to (or visa status in) the USA. We will also ask you to send us back a form called Student Final Evaluation of Host and Program - you can also download one, print it, complete and mail to us.
Unfortunately you can not simply ask the post office to forward your incoming mail to your home country. You have to make sure your host has your current home mailing address - politely ask him to forward your mail. The host should also remember to send you your form W-2 in January the following year as required by law. You will need the W2 form to complete your taxes.
